In theatres and cinemas, fabric ducting systems are complete with duct and diffuser in one, and are made from flame proof polyester material. These are typically matt black in colour.
Unlike a rigid duct our fabric ducting will not reflect or deflect performance sounds back to the audience.
As each ventilation system is bespoke, we can create designs optimised for the space. For example, we can design a system that delivers air at a lower velocity where the tiered seating is highest and nearest to the duct, whilst the same duct can deliver a higher volume lower down closer to the stage.
