Fabric ducting immediately below base of structure in Clarks warehouse

Shoe Warehouse

Prihoda were contacted to create a fabric ducting system for a large shoe distribution warehouse.

The main concern was to provide employee comfort in the summer conditions. In order to achieve the brief, it was decided to offer cool spots at regular lengths along the picking conveyor but also directing air into the racking aisles, a system used previously in several Amazon Warehouses.

The customer ordered a test system which consisted of several ducts for a single conveyor. Once installed it was tested along with the air patterns predicted and employee’s opinions and it was quickly realised the system was working as predicted and required no adjustment. Another 18 ducts were ordered to be installed over two floors to cover the remaining area.

Prihoda innovation at its best. For more information click here
